6x6 Baby Girl Mini-Album

Here's a different take on one of my mini-album tutorials to give you an idea of how you can completely change the look or theme using different paper lines. I used the 6"x6" "Je t' Adore" PDF tutorial HERE with the K&Co "Itsy Bitsy Baby Girl" collection. This is an 8x8 paper pad and I used about 20 sheets out of the 36 sheet pad to complete the mini. The mint green paper on the inside of some of the features was paper from my stash. Most of the papers in this collection are somewhat busy and I wanted to mix some solids in there to have a place for the eye to rest. I also used the die-cuts and border strips from the collection for page embellishments and altered them slightly by adding glossy accents, matting on cardstock, inking edges, etc to jazz them up a bit.

I changed the first and last pages in the album to better fit the theme. The first page has a pocket photo mat to give a place for a newborn picture of baby and there's a pull-out tag for all baby's birth info tucked inside. I eliminated the pocket on the last page due to the large size of the elephant die-cut (that I just HAD to use because it's so cute!) and still allows for a good sized picture of baby. I also made the waterfall feature with one less page and slightly larger pages to fit a picture on the top flap along with the cute hippo.

This mini-album is listed on eBay HERE ending on 6/9, if you're interested.

I'm working on a new tutorial with a patriotic theme and all new features just in time for 4th of July picnics, fireworks, parades, or even to commemorate a servicemember. I should have it finished in a few weeks!

Hope you all are enjoying a great start to summer:)

  1. I love your albums and you have inspired me to make more. Just having a new grand daughter I will surely make the baby album. I hope to have one up on my blog soon at JozartInnovativeDesigns.blogspot.com
