6x6 Halloween Mini using Authentique Glowing

Here's the first of my Halloween minis this year. I have an embarrassingly huge stash of Halloween stuff (I have no idea why since my "baby" is 19 this year and we rarely throw Halloween parties anymore), so I hope to make at least 3 minis and actually use all of this fun product I've been hoarding collecting for awhile now.

This one is a 6"x6" mini using Authentique's "Glowing" collection and a little bit of My Mind's Eye Haunted. I love the slightly vintage style of this collection. I think it works especially well for creating a little spookiness and mystique (HaHa, it's not every day you can pull off using two words ending in "ique"...unless you're French!)

I have to confess, while I spend a good deal of time on each page's design, I concentrate the most on the front cover. I know, you might say "don't judge a book by it's cover", but actually, go ahead! Please judge my books by their covers! This one has all kinds of texture and detail. The spine is covered in a velvet-embossed damask paper with a little vintage owl charm and ribbon that reminds me of the movie 'Beetlejuice'. There's a touch of sparkle here and there, beading, die-cuts, and a lacy little bat that I know will make an appearance again in future projects:)

The album is 10 pages including the insides of the front and back covers and the pages are constructed of multiple layers of heavy weight cardstock and patterned papers. There's plenty of room for 40+ pics and 11 pull-out tags for additional pics and journaling. As usual, there's lots of interactive features such as flip-pockets, magnetic flaps, a waterfall feature, pocket-pages, and more.

This mini will be listed on eBay this evening and I'll be posting a video soon. I'll provide the links to both tomorrow so please check back!

Hope you're having a great week!
